AMETS

Acorn Midlands Education & Training service

AMYETS provides FETAC accredited, experiential and practice led courses to people aged primarily 18-25 or anyone who has had a negative learning experience in the past. 

 

AMYETS provides a learner centered, practice based experience to ensure that everyone that participates on our courses not only receives accreditation in their chosen field but also gains real time in-house work experience in that area.  

 

In addition AMYEYS provides facilities that ensures small group work situations, individual learning plans, additional literacy/numeracy/emotional/vocational supports where required and the development of individual  progression pathways for each learner so that they can advance to further training or employment in their chosen field.

Mindfulness:

Karyn has a qualification in Mental Health in the Community through UCC. 

Mindfulness is a great way to slow

down & take some time to manage

the stresses of everyday life in a

comfortable environment.

Mindfulness 4 week course
